We are seeking a friendly, responsible, and customer-focused Retail Assistant to support the daily operations of our audiological clinic. The role involves assisting patients and customers, supporting the audiologist with clinic activities, handling hearing-related products, and maintaining clinic cleanliness. Job Details

Key Responsibilities Welcome and assist patients and customers in a friendly and professional manner. Assist the audiologist with non-clinical tasks before, during, and after patient appointments. Prepare the consultation and testing areas before patient appointments. Assist the audiologist with equipment, materials, and basic clinic preparations as required. Handle hearing aids, batteries, accessories, and other hearing-care products appropriately. Provide basic product information and refer clinical or technical questions to the audiologist. Manage retail sales, payments, receipts, and POS transactions accurately. Arrange and maintain hearing aids, accessories, and other products in an organized and presentable manner. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management and stock-taking. Receive, check, label, and organize incoming products and clinic supplies. Assist with appointment scheduling, patient registration, and basic administrative tasks. Follow up with customers regarding product collection, repairs, servicing, or appointments. Maintain accurate customer and sales records while strictly respecting patient confidentiality. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the clinic, including the reception area, consultation rooms, testing areas, retail displays, and workspaces. Assist with opening and closing procedures and ensure the clinic is prepared for daily operations. Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and escalate clinical concerns to the audiologist or clinic manager. Assist with promotional activities, product displays, and clinic events when required. Perform other duties as assigned by the audiologist or clinic manager. Requirements Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification. Previous experience in retail, customer service, healthcare, or clinic administration is an advantage. Interest in audiology, hearing healthcare, or medical-related products is preferred. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly, patient, caring, and empathetic personality. Comfortable interacting with elderly customers and patients with hearing difficulties. Basic computer, POS, and administrative skills. Good attention to detail and organizational skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Physically able to perform routine cleaning, organizing, and stock-handling duties.
