Job Summary
Claire_Organics is seeking a Retail Assistant Intern to bring clean, local organic options to the community. You will build the in-store experience from merchandising to customer moments and develop hands-on retail skills. Responsibilities include customer service, sales, merchandising, and store operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly customer service and product recommendations
- Handle sales, returns, and POS transactions
- Maintain visual merchandising and product displays
- Manage stock levels and receive inventory deliveries
- Conduct live streams for TikTok, Shopee, and Facebook
Required Skills
- SPM or equivalent certificate
- Basic numeracy and cash handling skills
- Friendly and patient communication skills
- Reliable with flexible availability including weekends

Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Welcome customers, answer questions, and recommend products based on needs and skin type.
- Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately using the point of sale system.
Sales & Merchandising
- Set up and refresh product displays to keep the shop tidy and easy to browse.
- Support promotions and suggest add-on products to help meet store sales goals.
Operations & Stock
- Receive deliveries, check invoices, and restock shelves to maintain availability.
- Perform regular stock counts and report discrepancies to store management.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- SPM or equivalent certificate preferred, fresh graduates welcome.
- 0 years of retail experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
Hard Skills & Knowledge
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic numeracy.
- Basic knowledge of organic skincare or willingness to learn product details.
Soft Skills & Qualities
- Friendly, patient, and comfortable speaking with a variety of customers.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including weekends.
