Full Set Account Executive
Job Summary
Juxta Films Sdn Bhd is seeking a Full Set Account Executive to handle comprehensive accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards and statutory requirements. This role requires at least 2 years of experience in managing full sets of accounts and proficiency in accounting software.
Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts (GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliation)
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards and taxation
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and authorities
- Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis
Required Skills
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 2 years of full set accounts experience
- Familiarity with SQL Accounting, AutoCount, UBS, or IFCA
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Job Details
Handle the full set of accounts, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliation, and month-end/year-end closing.
Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
Monitor inventory transactions and maintain accurate accounting treatment.
Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards, SST, taxation, and statutory requirements.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and government authorities.
Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring, financial analysis, and reporting.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience handling a full set of accounts. Candidates with 4–6 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
Experience managing multiple companies or group accounts will be an advantage.
Experience in the property development, construction, hospitality, education, or trading industry is an added advantage.
Familiar with accounting software such as SQL Accounting, AutoCount, UBS, IFCA, or similar systems.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Responsible, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
