Software Developer Intern AI

Responsibilities - Assist in developing and maintaining internal web-based systems, tools and applications. - Build and improve business automation workflows using platforms such as n8n. - Integrate different systems using APIs, webhooks and third-party services. - Support the development and maintenance of company websites, including WordPress websites. - Explore and implement AI tools to improve internal operations, customer service, content creation and data processing. - Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex or similar platforms to support software development. - Assist in troubleshooting bugs, system errors and automation workflow issues. - Work with different departments to understand their processes and identify opportunities for automation. - Test, document and improve existing systems and workflows. - Research new software, AI tools and automation solutions that may benefit the company. - Perform other software development and technology-related tasks when required. - Debug and solve existing and new bugs. Requirements - Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. - Basic knowledge of software development and programming concepts. - Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as JavaScript, Python, PHP or another relevant language. - Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, databases, APIs or web development. - Strong interest in artificial intelligence, automation and software development. - Willing to learn new tools and technologies independently. - Good problem-solving and analytical skills. - Able to communicate clearly and work well with different team members. - Responsible, organised and able to manage assigned tasks. - Able to work independently with guidance and complete tasks within the required timeline. Optional or Advantageous Skills - Experience with WordPress, including website editing, plugins, themes or WooCommerce. - Familiarity with n8n, Make, Zapier or other workflow automation platforms. - Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini or other AI development tools. - Basic experience with API integration, webhooks and JSON. - Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, PHP, Node.js or similar technologies. - Experience with GitHub or version-control tools. - Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or Firebase. - Experience developing websites, internal systems, dashboards or simple applications. - Interest in e-commerce systems, order management, inventory, customer service or marketing automation.
