Job Summary
Skuad Dekorasi (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor Intern to gain hands-on experience in the interior design and fit-out industry. The intern will assist in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and project documentation support. This role offers exposure to tendering, procurement, and cost control processes.

Job Details
Job Description:
- Assist in preparing quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and cost estimates.
- Support the preparation of project quotations and tender documents.
- Assist in sourcing and comparing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor project costs and assist in cost control throughout project execution.
- Prepare progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final account documentation.
- Coordinate with the Project, Design, and Procurement teams to ensure accurate costing.
- Maintain project cost records and documentation.
- Perform other QS-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building Technology, or a related field.
- Internship duration: 3 to 10 months.
- Basic understanding of quantity surveying principles and construction costing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and construction drawings is an advantage.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Positive attitude, eager to learn, and willing to take on new challenges.
