Content Writing Intern
Job Summary
NUREN GROUP is looking for an intern in content creation and writing to help tell their story across social media, websites, and campaigns. You will work alongside the marketing team on real projects from day one, including writing, video editing, and designing graphics. The ideal candidate has familiarity with video editing and design tools, as well as the ability to create content in both English and Malay.
Responsibilities
- Write captions, short posts, scripts and blog drafts in English and Malay
- Shoot, edit and put together short-form videos using tools like CapCut or Premiere Pro
- Design simple graphics, carousels and story visuals in Canva
- Track social media trends and pitch brand-fitting ideas
- Help out at shoots and events, including capturing behind-the-scenes content

Key Responsibilities
- Write captions, short posts, scripts and blog drafts in English and Malay
- Shoot, edit and put together short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) using tools like CapCut or Premiere Pro
- Design simple graphics, carousels and story visuals in Canva
- Keep track of social media trends, sounds and formats, and pitch ideas that fit our brand
- Brainstorming in content planning
- Proofread content so it’s clear, accurate and on-brand
- Help out at shoots and events, including capturing behind-the-scenes content
Requirements
- Preferably 6 - 12 months of internship duration. Minimum duration of 3 months.
- Familiarity with video editing and design tools such as CapCut, Canva, Premiere Pro or similar
- Ability to write and create content in both English and Malay
- A real interest in digital media, storytelling, social trends and visual content
- Creativity, attention to detail, good organisation and a willingness to learn
- Ability to juggle several tasks and meet deadlines
- Bonus: you’re comfortable appearing on camera, or you love brainstorming trend-led ideas
- A portfolio, personal page or a few class projects are enough to show us what you can do!
