Electrical Engineering Intern
Job Summary
Seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support Engineering Services operations, providing hands-on experience in electrical project coordination, system design support, technical documentation, testing and commissioning, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams on real-world engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist engineers in electrical engineering projects and daily operations
- Support electrical system design, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and project records
Required Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and circuits
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD/EPLAN
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers in electrical engineering projects and daily operations.
- Support electrical system design, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and project records.
- Assist in monitoring project progress and coordinating with internal teams and contractors.
- Participate in site visits, inspections, and equipment testing when required.
- Ensure documentation is accurate and complies with company standards.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Engineering team.
Job Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and engineering principles.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, EPLAN, or other electrical design software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Meticulous, proactive, responsible, and eager to learn.
