Job Details

Content Creator Intern (BM Speaking) If you can explain EPF, inflation or the latest Budget to your friends in Bahasa and have them say โ€œoh, now I get it,โ€ this is your playground. You will work alongside our content team on our Bahasa podcast and videos. You will help with research, prep the shoots, and get real time in front of the camera, with people guiding you along the way. The topics are big: money, business, the economy, the whole messy business of adulting, and whatever is actually happening in Malaysia this week. If it touches how Malaysians make, keep or lose money, it is fair game. The fun part is the translation. Taking something that sounds dry on paper and saying it the way a friend would, so a 28 year old in Puchong stops scrolling and thinks about their own money. You do not need to have it all figured out. You just need to be curious, willing to try, and eager to improve fast. Key Responsibilities ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Podcast Support and Hosting Support our Bahasa podcast from prep to shoot day, and co-host or host segments as you grow into it. Help prepare guest briefs and talking points so every episode has a clear angle. Keep it natural. Conversational, curious and never a lecture. ๐Ÿง  Research and Prep Scout topics across personal finance, economics and news, and bring us angles we would not have found on our own. Research before every shoot. Every number we publish carries a source and the year the data comes from. Draft scripts, outlines and talking points that sound like a person, not a press release. Your seniors will review and sharpen them with you. ๐ŸŽฌ Show Production Help produce shows by following our established format, from planning through to shoot day. Assist with setup, shoot logistics and coordination with guests and the team. Pitch ideas for new formats and series, not just new topics. ๐Ÿ“ฑ Social Content and Trends Create and present short-form content for Instagram, TikTok and beyond. Live in the feed. Spot trends early and suggest how they could fit our brand and our message. Learn to read what worked and what did not, and use it to improve the next piece. ๐Ÿ’ฌ Community Listen to what the audience keeps asking and turn it into content ideas. Help reply to comments and DMs like a person, not a brand account. ๐Ÿค Events and Campaigns Tag along to events and community sessions, and appear on camera when needed. Sit in on brand campaign discussions and learn how we deliver what a client needs while still sounding like us. Requirements Join us if you are: Genuinely curious about money and the real world. You already read about personal finance, the economy and the news. You ask questions because you want to know, not because someone told you to. Fluent in spoken Bahasa. Clear, natural and relatable. You can switch between casual and more serious tones without losing your audience. Naturally in tune with social media. You know Instagram and TikTok, you understand hooks, formats and pacing, and you can explain why a post blew up. Comfortable in front of the camera. You come across as yourself, you can talk to a lens or a guest, and you do not freeze when the red light comes on. A creative storyteller. You can take a complicated idea and make it land in sixty seconds. A quick learner. You take feedback well, ask good questions, and apply what you learn on the next piece. Organised and reliable. Research, scripts and files stay tidy with you, and you deliver on time. Someone who treats a flop as information. Not every post lands. You look at what went wrong, take the lesson and get on with the next one. Energised by a fast pace. You will be thrown into real work early. If that sounds exciting rather than scary, you will love it here. Bonus points if you have hosted a podcast or show, run a content account of your own, or have a basic feel for shooting, framing and light. What Youโ€™ll Learn ๐Ÿš€ How a real media brand actually grows, not the theory version. ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ How to host a show that people finish, share and come back to. ๐Ÿ’ก How to talk about money and adulting like a friend, not a lecture. ๐Ÿ“ˆ How to read data and let it change what you make next. ๐Ÿค What it takes to deliver for a client without losing your own voice. ๐ŸŽฌ Content from end to end: idea, research, script, shoot, publish, learn. ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿซ Direct mentorship from people who do this every day.
