Maintenance Technician
Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the hands-on maintenance, repair, and servicing of all F&B equipment, fixtures, and outlet infrastructure across the Tealive and Bask Bear Coffee retail network. This role ensures optimal working condition of equipment to support uninterrupted operations. Candidates must have a relevant diploma or certificate along with 1-2 years of technical experience.

Job Details
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform equipment and general repair for Loob Holding properties & outlets.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all F&B equipment at Tealive and Bask Bear Coffee outlets in accordance with the maintenance programme and manufacturer service specifications.
- Respond promptly to outlet breakdown calls and equipment failure incidents; diagnose root causes and carry out corrective repairs to restore operations.
- Service and maintain beverage machines, blenders, water purifiers, refrigeration units, display chillers, exhaust systems, and POS hardware.
- Carry out basic electrical, plumbing, and facility maintenance works at outlets including lighting, sockets, drainage, and minor civil repairs.
- Complete preventive maintenance checklists, breakdown job cards, and equipment service records accurately after every maintenance activity.
- Escalate complex technical faults requiring specialist or OEM intervention to the Maintenance Manager promptly.
- Collect and return spare parts from the central store; record all parts used during maintenance activities for inventory control purposes.
- Liaise with outlet teams and mall facility management on maintenance access, works scheduling, and safety compliance during repairs.
- Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment during outlet fit-out and opening activities.
- Ensure all maintenance works comply with food safety standards, electrical safety regulations, and OSHA requirements.
- Maintain maintenance tools and personal equipment in good working condition.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Certificate in SKM Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on technical experience in F&B equipment maintenance, kitchen equipment servicing, or facilities maintenance.
- Practical knowledge of beverage machine servicing, refrigeration systems, and electrical fault-finding.
- Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and equipment schematics.
- Physically fit with the ability to travel to multiple outlet locations and carry out hands-on maintenance works.
- Reliable and responsive with the ability to prioritise urgent breakdown calls effectively.
- Good communication skills for liaison with outlet managers and mall facility teams.
- Possession of a valid driving licence (manual) is required.
