Maintenance Technician
Job Summary
As a Maintenance Technician, you will ensure smooth production line operations by planning and carrying out preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing faults, and managing spare parts. You will work hands-on with plant equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues while helping to reduce external maintenance costs. We are looking for candidates with SPM or above who are eager to learn, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Plan and carry out preventive maintenance to keep machines running.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Coordinate external contractors when needed and sign off service reports.
- Keep machine status updated to the relevant HOD.
- Source spare parts and organise tools and the maintenance area for quick retrieval.
- Look for realistic ways to reduce external technician costs while maintaining quality and safety.

Requirements:
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Able to read, write & communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Willing to learn extra, work hard and willing to work over time.
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently with minimum supervision.
- Knowledge about mechanical and electrical.
- Attention to detail, technical skills, and ability to work under pressure.
- Able to perform work through supervision or coordination with contractors or subordinate.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- SPM and above.
- 1-2 years working experience preferred, otherwise trainable.
