Job Details
As we expand our retail presence across Malaysia, we’re looking for someone to help build and grow our offline sales channel — from bazaars and pop-ups to corporate workshops and retail opportunities. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys sales, people and making things happen. You’ll need to be comfortable selling and working on the ground to understand our customers and what makes an event successful. But your main role is to hire, train and manage promoters to drive sales, with the opportunity to grow from selling yourself to building and managing a team that grows the channel.
What You’ll Do:
1. Sales & Retail Growth
- Find and evaluate bazaars, pop-ups, retail opportunities and partnerships that can drive sales.
- Plan and execute events from setup to teardown, ensuring smooth operations and good customer experience.
- Own event sales targets and track sales, costs and results to identify what works and what can improve.
2. Manage the On-Ground Team
- Recruit, train, schedule and manage part-time promoters.
- Set sales targets, guide the team and ensure they are well-prepared for each event.
- Build simple processes so events can run smoothly without you needing to do everything yourself.
3. Corporate Workshops & Partnerships
- Handle corporate workshop and activation enquiries from initial contact to execution.
- Coordinate with clients, organisers and partners on requirements, pricing and schedules.
- Look for opportunities to turn successful activations into repeat business.
Requirements:
- Driven, resourceful and comfortable taking ownership.
- Enjoys sales and talking to people and is comfortable working towards targets.
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks, people and timelines.
- Comfortable making decisions and solving problems independently.
- Has a positive, energetic and “let’s figure it out” attitude.
- Comfortable working weekends, travelling and being on the ground.
- Experience in sales, retail, events or customer-facing roles is a plus, but fresh graduates are welcome.
- Own transport required.
- Good communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Take ownership — you don't wait to be told every step.
- Think commercially — you care about whether something actually sells.
- Are resourceful — when something doesn't work, you look for another way.
- Want to grow — you're excited to learn how to build a channel, not just complete tasks.
Location & Working Style:
- On event days: Klang Valley
- Non-event days: Office-based at Desa Sri Hartamas, KL.
- Flexible working days based on the event calendar. This is a results-driven role — you have flexibility in how you work, but are accountable for sales and execution.
Compensation:
- Base salary + performance commission
- Your sales results directly impact your commission
- There is no limit to how much you can earn
