Sales Executive
Job Summary
Makoto House is looking for a Sales Executive to join their team, focusing on Japanese alcoholic beverages like Asahi beer, premium sake, and shochu. The role involves working closely with F&B businesses such as restaurants, hotels, and bars to develop new accounts and maintain customer relationships. Candidates will gain hands-on B2B sales experience and learn about the Japanese beverage industry while enjoying a base salary and commission structure.

Job Role & Responsibilities
- Develop practical B2B sales skills through customer visits, product presentations and account management.
- Build and maintain relationships with restaurants, hotels, bars and other F&B customers.
- Learn about Japanese beer, sake and shochu through on-the-job training and product exposure.
- Assist in developing new accounts and identifying potential business opportunities.
- Manage assigned customer accounts and follow up on sales activities with guidance from the team.
- Gain exposure to the Japanese alcoholic beverage and F&B industry while developing your sales career.
Salary & Commission
- Basic Salary: RM3,000 – RM4,000
- Transport Allowance: RM1,000/month
- Telephone Allowance: RM50/month
- Commission: RM1,000+ potential, uncapped
- Total earning potential: RM5,050 – RM6,050+ per month
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in sales or a related field is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with a strong interest in sales and the F&B industry are also encouraged to apply.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, F&B or a related field is an advantage.
- Comfortable meeting customers and travelling for customer visits when required.
- Willing to work occasional evenings or weekends for customer events or activities when required.
Skills & Knowledge
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of Japanese alcoholic beverages or the F&B industry is an advantage, but not required.
