Maintenance Intern
Job Summary
Wyndham Grand Bangsar Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Internship Maintenance Technician to assist the Engineering team with daily maintenance and repair tasks. The intern will support preventive maintenance of hotel facilities, equipment, and systems while gaining practical experience. Candidates currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in a related engineering field are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily maintenance and repair tasks
- Support preventive maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment
- Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical works
- Conduct regular inspections and respond to maintenance requests
Required Skills
- Pursuing Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field
- Basic knowledge of building systems
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Proactive and willing to work on shifts
Job Details
Assist the Engineering team with daily maintenance and repair tasks. Support preventive maintenance of hotel facilities, equipment, and systems. Assist with basic electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and mechanical works. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and hotel facilities. Assist in responding to maintenance requests from various departments. Help maintain proper records of maintenance activities and equipment. Follow hotel safety procedures and engineering standards. Perform other duties assigned by the Engineering team.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related field.
- Willing to learn and gain practical experience in hotel engineering operations.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or building systems is an advantage.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Responsible, proactive, and willing to work on a shift basis.
