Polygon Synergy Ventures is seeking a Petroleum Engineering Intern to handle geological samples, data entry, and project support. The ideal candidate should be studying Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering, or related fields with strong Microsoft Excel skills. This internship offers a monthly allowance, practical industry training, and a certificate of completion.
Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and label geological samples
- Perform data entry and maintain records in Excel
- Support packing, layout setup, and sampling
- Assist in preservation tasks and capture core photographs
Required Skills
- Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering, or Earth Sciences background
- Good attention to detail, responsible, team-oriented
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
✅Receive, sort, and label geological samples (core, cuttings, mud)
✅Perform data entry and maintain records in Excel and internal systems
✅Support packing, layout setup, and sampling
✅Assist in preservation tasks (resin coating, vacuum sealing, plugging)
✅Capture and edit core photographs
✅Participate in sample projects (reboxing, thin sections, relabelling)
Requirements (Field of study):
