Retail Associate

Provide basic product knowledge and explain the differences between products. Assist customers with product selection based on their target fish, fishing technique and budget. Demonstrate products and explain basic usage when required. Handle cashier duties, payments and sales transactions accurately. Arrange, display and replenish products on shelves. Ensure products are properly labelled and displayed neatly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the shop. Check stock levels and assist with stock counting and inventory management. Receive and arrange incoming stock. Assist with product packing and preparation for customer orders. Handle customer enquiries through WhatsApp, social media or other sales channels when required. Assist with promotions, new product launches and in-store marketing activities. Handle customer feedback and basic complaints professionally. Perform other retail and store-related duties assigned by the supervisor. Requirements: Minimum SPM or equivalent. Retail, sales or customer service experience is an advantage. Knowledge or interest in fishing is highly preferred. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly, approachable and comfortable speaking with customers. Willing to learn about fishing tackle and different fishing techniques. Responsible, punctual and able to work as part of a team. Able to work on weekends and public holidays when required.
