Technical Engineer

We are hiring a Technical Engineer for the IOI City Mall Phase 3 building construction project. Responsibilities: - Review construction drawings, specifications and technical documents. - Coordinate civil, structural, architectural and M&E drawings and identify discrepancies. - Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, technical submissions and material submissions. - Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and site teams to resolve technical and construction issues. - Provide technical support to the site team during construction. - Review construction methods and propose practical technical solutions. - Attend technical coordination meetings and follow up on outstanding technical matters. - Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements. - Assist in design coordination, drawing revisions and technical documentation. Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering or related field. - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in building construction projects. - Experience in high-rise, commercial, residential, shopping mall or mixed-use developments is preferred. - Familiar with construction drawings, shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, technical submissions and material submissions. - Good knowledge of civil, structural and architectural construction works. - Proficient in AutoCAD. BIM/Revit experience will be an advantage. - Able to coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, designers and site teams to resolve technical issues. - Experience working with a main contractor is preferred. - Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills. - Able to work at the IOI City Mall Phase 3 project site, Putrajaya. - Candidates with experience mainly in IT, software, telecommunications, electronics, technical support or manufacturing will not be considered.
