Account Executive
Job Summary
Marvel Capital Holdings Ltd is seeking an Account Executive to maintain accurate financial records, handle daily transactions, and support month-end closing procedures. The candidate will ensure compliance with accounting standards and assist with audits and financial reporting. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with 2 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL)
- Prepare month-end closing and financial reports
- Perform bank reconciliations and handle petty cash
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and bankers
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Familiarity with accounting software like SQL
- 2-5 years of accounting or finance experience
Job Details
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Data entry and maintaining accurate accounting records
- Manage full sets of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)
- Prepare month-end closing activities, monthly management accounts, and balance sheet schedules
- Perform bank reconciliations, petty cash handling and balance sheet reconciliations
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and bankers for annual audits
- File and organize financial documents and records
Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SQL)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to work with financial documents such as invoices, receipts, and bank statements
Soft Skills:
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Eagerness to learn and take on new tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills

Education:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
- Currently pursuing or planning to pursue professional certifications like ACCA, CPA, or MICPA (an advantage)
Experience:
- 2–5 years of working experience in accounting or finance role
