Senior Accountant
Job Summary
The Senior Accountant will manage full sets of accounts and oversee manufacturing cost analysis to ensure financial accuracy. This role involves month-end closing, budgeting, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with tax and audit requirements. The position also focuses on ERP system optimization and collaborating with internal teams to resolve operational discrepancies.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and reviewing management accounts, financial statements and financial analysis reports to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
- Support the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), inventory accounting and fixed assets management.
- Monitor and maintain manufacturing cost data, analyze production cost variances, and ensure the accuracy of inventory valuation and stock movement transactions.
- Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and journal adjustments.
- Assist in the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets, financial forecasts and financial planning activities.
- Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents and reconciliations, and liaise with external auditors and tax agents for statutory audits, tax submissions and regulatory reporting.
- Liaise with internal departments to investigate and resolve discrepancies related to inventory, costing or operational transactions.
- Support and enhance ERP system utilization, including system implementation, finance module improvement and process optimization initiatives.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Degree in Accounting & ACCA/CIMA qualification.
- 3 - 5 years working experience in account field, preferably in manufacturing industry.
- Willing to work in Hutan Melintang, Perak.
