Air Freight Manager

Oversee and coordinate all air cargo operations. Manage shipments and ensure compliance with local and international regulations. Negotiate with carriers and optimise operational costs. Maintain service levels across air freight operations. Lead and mentor the air freight team. Build and maintain relationships with clients. Work with airlines, ground handling agents and other service providers to negotiate contracts, rates and service levels. Monitor vendor performance and maintain reliable partnerships. Analyse market trends, competitors and customer needs. Prepare sales reports, forecasts and performance metrics. Develop air freight sales strategies and identify new business opportunities. Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through closing. Collaborate with Finance, Marketing and other departments. Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field. - Experience in air freight sales or a similar sales role within the logistics industry. - Strong understanding of air freight logistics, including: (Pricing, Regulations, Market dynamics) - Able to use Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. - Able to work independently. - Good written and spoken English. - Good computer skills. - Ability to analyse data, generate insights and make informed decisions.
