Semi Senior Auditor
Job Summary
SFAI Malaysia is seeking a Semi Senior Auditor who is a Mandarin speaker to handle statutory audit engagements and financial statements. The candidate will be responsible for audit fieldwork, tax computations, and liaising with clients. A Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy and 2 to 4 years of relevant audit experience are required.

Job Details
Perform and assist in statutory audit engagements in accordance with applicable auditing standards. Handle audit fieldwork, including reviewing financial records and supporting documents. Prepare and finalise audited financial statements. Assist in preparing tax computations for corporate and individual clients. Liaise with clients to obtain audit information, clarify requirements, and resolve audit queries. Identify audit issues and recommend practical solutions. Review audit working papers and ensure proper documentation. Provide guidance and support to junior audit staff when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
- 2–4 years of relevant audit experience, preferably with an audit firm.
- Strong understanding of auditing standards and financial reporting.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good client-handling and interpersonal skills.
