Sales Engineer
Job Summary
As a Sales Engineer at Pyrope Industries Sdn Bhd, you will act as the backbone between customers and our production team by keeping orders accurate and translating technical needs into manufacturable plans. You will expand your technical sales expertise, build cross-functional experience, and manage client relationships in Mandarin, Chinese, and English. This role offers hands-on experience that positions you for senior sales or operations roles within manufacturing.

Required Skills

Responsibilities
Technical Sales
- Present product options and match technical specifications to customer needs in clear, practical terms.
- Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and follow up on clarifications until the customer signs off.
Customer & Account Management
- Manage customer enquiries and maintain relationships, communicating in Mandarin Chinese, Chinese, and English as required.
- Negotiate terms, track quotations, and ensure customers receive timely status updates.
Production Liaison
- Translate customer requirements into production-ready instructions and coordinate handovers to manufacturing.
- Monitor order progress and quality, and work with production to resolve issues that affect delivery or specs.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales or engineering support within a manufacturing environment.
Hard Skills & Knowledge
- Sales, Sales Management, and Business Development experience focused on industrial products.
- Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering principles.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to prepare technical proposals and estimates.
- Proficient communication in Mandarin Chinese and Chinese Language for customer interactions.
