Job Description
Assist reporters and editors in producing daily news content for the Chinese Desk. Conduct research, gather information, and fact-check details for news articles. Write, edit, and translate news articles in Mandarin and/or other relevant languages. Monitor current affairs, news trends, and social issues relevant to the Chinese-speaking community. Assist in conducting interviews, attending press conferences, and covering media events when required. Support the editorial team with daily newsroom operations and other assigned tasks.
Requirements
Must provide an internship placement letter from the university/college.
Minimum internship duration of 4 months.
Fluent in Chinese and English, with strong writing and communication skills.
Good command of news writing, translation, and content creation is an advantage.
Passionate about journalism, current affairs, and media.
Possessing own transportation is an added advantage.
