Job Summary
The Content Strategy Team is seeking a creative Video Editor and Content Planner to boost brand awareness across social media. You will be responsible for planning, filming, and editing engaging video content while collaborating with the creative and marketing teams. The role requires a creative mindset, video editing proficiency, and the ability to adapt to current trends.
Responsibilities
- Plan and develop scripts, storyboards, and creative ideas
- Edit and polish raw video footage
- Film video content for social media
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams
- Stay updated on social media trends and formats
Required Skills
- Fluent in 中文, English, and Bahasa Malaysia
- Proficiency in video editing software (CapCut, Jianying, Premiere Pro)
- Scriptwriting and creative ideation
- Camera presence and filming skills
- Ability to travel for shoots
Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop video content through scripts, storyboards, and creative ideation.
- Edit raw footage into polished, scroll-stopping videos.
- Add your own touch of creativity to make the final product stand out.
- Film video content.
- Collaborate with the creative team to deliver content for campaigns, launches, and social media.
- Suggest new formats, trends, or styles to keep content fresh and engaging.
- Occasionally appear in videos if the content calls for it.
Requirements:
- Fresh graduates welcome.
- Fluent in 中文, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Experience in video-editing (CapCut, Jianying, Premiere Pro, etc.).
- Creative thinker who enjoys ideating and scripting.
- Comfortable appearing on camera when needed.
- A good eye for trends and social media content.
- Experience with shooting videos is an added advantage.
- Own transport – since shoots may take place at different locations.
