M&E Engineering Intern
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Engineering Intern to join our Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) team. The intern will gain hands-on experience in M&E project coordination, site supervision, and technical documentation. This role offers valuable exposure to real-world engineering challenges in construction, infrastructure, and building services projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in M&E systems design and implementation
- Support site inspections and work monitoring
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers
- Maintain engineering documentation and project records
Required Skills
- Mechanical Engineering degree
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project
- Multilingual (Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin)
- Microsoft Office suite
Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, coordination, and implementation of M&E systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, etc.) under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support site engineers in conducting site inspections and monitoring work progress to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
- Assist in liaising with consultants, contractors, and suppliers for project coordination.
- Support administrative tasks related to engineering documentation and project records.
- Assist to complete other tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, EXCEL, AUTOCAD, Microsoft Project, OUTLOOK.
- Preferably Entry Level specialized in Engineering Construction/Structural or equivalent.
- Willing to work at project sites if required.
