DIP Line Leader
Job Summary
As a DIP Line Leader at Bittele Electronics Sdn. Bhd., you will take ownership of the DIP assembly line to scale its output while maintaining high quality. You will supervise a production crew, set standard work, and introduce practical improvements to raise throughput. This role offers an opportunity to develop practical leadership and technical skills in PCB assembly.
Responsibilities
- Plan and run daily DIP line operations to meet targets
- Lead shift team, assign tasks, and manage handovers
- Implement SOPs for soldering, insertion, and cleanup
- Monitor machine condition and basic equipment setup
Required Skills
- Minimum SPM or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics
- At least 2 years experience in electronics manufacturing or PCB assembly
- Practical knowledge of through-hole/DIP assembly processes
- Mandarin Spoken

Responsibilities
Production Leadership
- Plan and run daily DIP line operations to meet production targets and delivery schedules.
- Lead a shift team, assign tasks, and manage handovers to keep output consistent.
- Track key metrics like yield, throughput, and downtime and report trends to the supervisor.
- Coordinate with planners to adjust line speed and staffing during peak demand.
Process & Quality
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for soldering, insertion, and cleanup activities.
- Perform visual and electrical inspections and isolate defects for root cause checks.
- Work with Quality to close non-conformances and to update inspection criteria.
- Run first-article checks and support process capability improvement efforts.
Operations & Equipment
- Monitor machine condition and perform basic setup, calibration, and preventive checks.
- Liaise with maintenance for repairs and for planned downtime coordination.
- Manage material staging and feed to keep the line supplied and reduce bottlenecks.
- Keep work area organised and enforce safety and PPE rules every shift.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum SPM or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics or related technical field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or PCB assembly, preferably on a DIP or through-hole line.
- Previous experience supervising a small production team or acting as a shift lead.
- Familiarity with manufacturing documentation such as SOPs and inspection records.
- Mandarin Spoken
Hard Skills & Knowledge
- Practical knowledge of through-hole / DIP assembly processes and soldering practices.
- Basic quality inspection skills, including visual inspection and simple electrical checks.
- Experience with production scheduling, basic troubleshooting, and using ERP or production trackers.
- Awareness of 5S or continuous improvement techniques and basic maintenance principles.
