Job Summary
SCS Global Associates is hiring Audit Associates, Experienced Associates, and Senior Associates based in JB or KL. You will assist in audit assignments, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with reporting standards. We are looking for candidates ranging from fresh graduates to experienced professionals with strong teamwork and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in audit assignments and financial statements preparation
- Perform audit procedures and document findings
- Liaise with managers and supervisors on audit status
- Manage assigned audit engagements and support junior team members (for senior roles)
Required Skills
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Effective communication in English
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Job Details
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in audit assignments and the preparation of financial statements.
- Perform audit procedures, document audit findings, and highlight key matters requiring attention.
- Liaise closely with managers and supervisors to provide timely updates on work progress and audit status.
- Prepare company and group financial statements in compliance with applicable financial reporting standards, including IFRS where relevant.
- Manage reporting timelines and expectations while maintaining professional working relationships.
- Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with clients.
- For experienced and senior positions, manage assigned audit engagements, review work performed, identify key audit issues, and support junior team members.
Requirements:
- Fresh graduates with a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field are encouraged to apply for the Associate position.
- Candidates with relevant audit experience are welcome to apply for Experienced Associate or Senior Associate positions.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Able to communicate effectively in English.
- Positive attitude, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Possession of own transport will be an advantage.
- Willing to travel occasionally when required.
- Candidates who can start immediately or within a short notice period will have an advantage.
