Job Summary
As a Sales Assistant at Batek-Lah Collection, you will create an exceptional in-store experience by warmly greeting customers, styling outfits, and maintaining fresh displays. You will handle daily retail operations, process transactions, and ensure the sales floor remains inviting. This role is ideal for individuals with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn, as no prior retail experience is required.

Customer Experience
- Welcome customers warmly, understand their needs, and suggest relevant products or outfits.
- Provide personalised styling tips and demonstrate product features to build trust and repeat visits.
- Handle enquiries, exchanges, and basic aftercare politely to keep customers satisfied.
- Follow up on simple customer requests and ensure the sales floor feels inviting every day.
Sales & Merchandising
- Process sales accurately using the POS system and manage cash handling at checkout.
- Arrange and refresh displays so products look appealing and seasonal stories are clear.
- Promote add-ons and suggest appropriate sizes to increase average sale without pressuring customers.
- Help with stock replenishment and tagging to keep bestsellers visible on the floor.
Store Operations
- Receive deliveries, check invoices, and assist with basic stock counts during quiet hours.
- Keep the store tidy, manage fitting rooms, and report low stock or product issues to the supervisor.
- Support simple administrative tasks like preparing sales reports and updating price labels when needed.
- Adhere to health and safety and store opening and closing procedures every shift.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum education: SPM or equivalent, recent school leaver or fresh graduate welcome.
- 0 years retail experience required; we value attitude and eagerness to learn over prior roles.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays.
Hard Skills & Knowledge
- Basic cash handling and familiarity with POS or willingness to learn store systems quickly.
- Comfortable with simple stock control tasks and basic inventory checks.
- Good numeracy for processing payments and tracking simple sales figures.
