Job Summary

Develop and maintain features across Go backend services and React frontend applications. Troubleshoot bugs and collaborate with team members to ensure code quality in financial transaction systems. Requirements include a degree in Computer Science or related field and foundational programming experience.

  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 0–2 years of experience or equivalent projects
  • Experience with a backend language (Go preferred)
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, React, and Redux
  • Understanding of SQL and PostgreSQL
  • Proficient in English & Mandarin

Job Details

Develop and fix features in Go backend services (APIs & background workers) and React frontend application (consumer application & backoffice). Write SQL queries for PostgreSQL and use Redis through existing patterns. Write and maintain tests by following coding standards to ensure code quality checks and CI pipelines run successfully. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs reported by clients and team members. Learn the platform's business domain, including transactions, digital wallets, and partner integrations. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 0–2 years of experience, or equivalent skills demonstrated through personal or academic projects. Exposure to at least one backend language (Go preferred, Node.js, Java, C#, Python with a willingness to learn Go). Experience in JavaScript, React, and Redux is an added advantage. Understanding of SQL basics, preferably with PostgreSQL. Familiarity with Git (pull request workflows and code review) Proficient in English & Mandarin Willingness to learn, collaborative, and take responsibility for code quality, particularly in systems handling financial transactions. Nice to Have: Experience with Go, Redux Toolkit, redux-saga, Vite, or pnpm. Familiarity with Redis & WebSockets. Exposure to any fintech, payment systems, or digital wallets. Experience with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
