Cloud Security IT Intern

Why This Role Matters To support IT Infrastructure and Security team with daily IT operations, documentation, reporting, and compliance activities. How You’ll Make a Difference Assist in maintaining cloud infrastructure inventory, operational checklists, security records, and compliance documentation. Follow up with relevant teams on outstanding incidents, vulnerabilities, patching activities, and remediation actions, and update their status accordingly. Assist in preparing operational reports, tracking logs, audit evidence, and status updates for management review. Perform basic reviews of cloud monitoring dashboards and operational reports using read-only access, where permitted. Support the team in tracking cloud security findings, access reviews, configuration compliance, and scheduled maintenance activities. Assist in coordinating operational tasks and ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date. Requirements What You’ll Bring Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Cloud Computing, IT Infrastructure, or a related field. Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity concepts, IT operations, and security compliance. Good documentation, coordination, communication, and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Willingness to learn cloud operations, security monitoring, vulnerability management, and compliance processes. Responsible and organised, with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately and follow established procedures and access controls.
