Service Engineer
Job Summary
The Service Engineer based in Shah Alam will perform installation, servicing, commissioning and maintenance of cleanroom monitoring instruments and systems. This role ensures quality standards, customer satisfaction, and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 where applicable. Candidates are expected to handle troubleshooting, technical reports, and frequent travel for work assignments.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, servicing, and maintenance of cleanroom systems
- Conduct FAT/SAT and complete engineering projects within schedule
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues proficiently
- Prepare accurate technical and engineering reports
- Travel frequently for work assignments domestically or abroad
Required Skills
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- 2–3 years service engineer experience
- Cleanroom monitoring equipment expertise
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- ISO/IEC 17025:2017 environment experience
Job Details
Requirements Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a similar discipline.
- Minimum of 2–3 years working experience as a service engineer; experience in installation and servicing of cleanroom monitoring equipment and systems.
- Good at troubleshooting; competent in identifying, analysing, and resolving technical issues proficiently.
- Experience working in an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited environment would be an asset.
- Must be customer focussed.
- Ability to prepare accurate technical reports.
- Willing to travel frequently within the country or abroad if required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the efficient installation and service of systems and instruments on-site, meeting quality standards and achieving customer satisfaction.
- Complete engineering projects with accuracy, zero defects, within schedule and budget allocation; identify, analyse, and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Conduct FAT/SAT upon completion of system or equipment installation.
- Report promptly to the Lab on any instrument problems.
- Communicate with customers on engineering issues and collaborate with the engineering team to resolve customer issues; must be a good team player.
- Prepare accurate technical or engineering reports.
- Be willing to travel as frequently as required on work assignments.
