Site Safety Supervisor

- Monitor daily site activities and safety compliance
- Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments
- Prepare safety documentation and reports
- Conduct toolbox briefings and safety inductions

Required Skills
- Diploma/Degree with relevant safety qualifications
- Valid SSS Yellow Book registered with DOSH/JKKP
- Valid E-Certificate for SSS
- Construction site safety experience
- Knowledge of Malaysian OSH regulations
Job Details
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, project requirements and company policies.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions, practices and potential hazards.
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation, inspection reports, risk assessments and safety records.
- Conduct toolbox briefings, safety inductions and awareness sessions for workers and subcontractors.
- Monitor the proper use of PPE and ensure workers follow safe work procedures.
- Assist in investigating accidents, incidents and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and relevant parties to resolve safety issues.
- Monitor work permits, housekeeping, emergency preparedness and other site safety requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable DOSH requirements, OSHA and relevant construction safety regulations.
- Follow up on safety findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma/Degree or equivalent; relevant safety qualifications are preferred.
- Must possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) Yellow Book registered with DOSH/JKKP.
- Must possess a valid E-Certificate (e-Cert) relevant to the SSS qualification/registration.
- Previous site safety experience in construction is required; experience with a main contractor is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Malaysian occupational safety and health regulations and construction site safety practices.
- Able to conduct site inspections, toolbox briefings and prepare safety reports.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Responsible, observant and proactive in identifying and addressing safety risks.
- Willing to work at construction project sites as required.
