Freight Customs Executive
Job Summary
We are seeking a Freight & Customs Forwarding Executive to manage end-to-end shipment processes including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and customer onboarding. This role requires strong attention to detail and excellent management skills in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate smooth cargo movement with relevant authorities.

Required Skills
- Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain
- Minimum 2 years freight forwarding experience

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate freight forwarding activities for import/export shipments.
- Manage customs clearance documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Liaise with shipping lines, transporters, and customs authorities for smooth cargo movement.
- Prepare and submit permits, declarations, and other regulatory documents.
- Monitor shipment status and resolve operational or compliance issues promptly.
- Onboard new customers, ensuring smooth integration into operational processes and systems.
- Identify and address discrepancies or non-compliance in documentation and processes.
- Work effectively under time-sensitive conditions and meet multiple deadlines.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or customs brokerage.
- Familiarity with Malaysian customs systems.
- Comfortable handling tasks and processes via system platforms.
- Strong communication and people management skills.
- Keen eye for detail and ability to detect irregularities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
