Job Summary
Jiangsu Installation Sdn. Bhd. (JSI) is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage and organize materials, tools, and site supplies for construction projects. The role involves daily warehouse operations, inventory tracking, and coordinating with site personnel. Candidates should have relevant experience, basic computer skills, and be physically fit for site-based duties.

- Receive, store, issue, and track construction materials and tools
- Coordinate material deliveries and conduct regular stock checks
Required Skills
- Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma / Degree in a relevant field
- 1–2 years of warehouse or construction site experience
- Basic computer skills and good record-keeping abilities
- Physically fit for manual handling and site-based work
Job Details
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily operation and management of the warehouse/store at the construction site.
- Receive, check and record incoming materials, tools, equipment and other items.
- Arrange and store materials properly according to the designated storage areas.
- Issue materials, tools and equipment to site workers and relevant personnel based on approved requests.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movement, material issuance and returns.
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist with stocktaking and inventory reconciliation.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor when materials are running low or require replenishment.
- Ensure materials and equipment are properly labelled, organised and safely stored.
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials when required.
- Keep the warehouse/store clean, organised and safe at all times.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, project teams, suppliers and other relevant parties regarding material deliveries and collection.
- Report any damaged, missing or excess materials to the supervisor.
- Perform other warehouse and site-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements
- Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma/ Degree in any relevant field.
- At least 1–2 years of warehouse, storekeeping or construction site experience is preferred.
- Experience handling construction materials, tools or equipment is an advantage.
- Basic computer skills and ability to maintain simple stock records.
- Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and basic English.
- Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling, loading and unloading when required.
- Responsible, punctual and willing to work in a construction site environment.
- Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with site personnel.
- Male candidates are preferred due to the physical and site-based nature of the role.
- Candidates who have experience operating warehouse equipment or machinery will have an added advantage.
