Account Executive
Job Summary
Standard Central Sdn Bhd is seeking an Account Executive to assist with full sets of accounts, daily financial operations, and accounting records in Segambut, KL. The ideal candidate will handle daily accounting tasks, process accounts payable and receivable, and support month-end and year-end closing procedures. A Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance with around 2 years of experience or a fresh graduate profile is required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing the full set of accounts and day-to-day financial operations
- Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts on a regular basis
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Required Skills
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficient in SAP B1 accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malay and English
Job Details
Assist in preparing the full set of accounts, day-to-day financial operations, and ensure that accounting records comply with the approved accounting standards, related statutory and other requirements.
Assist with daily accounting tasks, including data entry and ledger postings.
Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, and payments.
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts on a regular basis.
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
Assist with the preparation of financial records and statements.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in SAP B1 accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malay and English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage
