Job Details

Responsibilities Guest Services - Greet and assist guests at arrival and departure, ensuring a warm and efficient check-in/check-out process. - Answer front desk phone calls and emails with clear, polite information and accurate follow-up. - Handle guest requests and minor complaints promptly, escalating when necessary to maintain satisfaction. - Provide local information and assist with simple concierge tasks such as transport or directions. Front Desk Operations - Process payments, issue receipts, and manage basic cash handling and end-of-shift balancing. - Maintain reservation records and update room status using the property management system. - Prepare arrival and departure reports and assist with simple billing and invoicing tasks. - Keep reception area neat, stocked, and presentable throughout the day. Communications & Coordination - Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and issues are tracked to closure. - Relay guest notes and special requests to relevant teams clearly and promptly. - Support basic event or group check-ins by preparing documentation and guiding guests as needed. - Log incidents and hand over clear shift notes to the next front desk team member. Requirements Qualifications & Experience - Fresh graduates or candidates with minimal work experience are welcome and encouraged to apply. - High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or customer service coursework is a plus but not required. - Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by front desk operations. Hard Skills & Knowledge - Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email correspondence. - Familiarity or willingness to learn a Property Management System such as eZee. - Cash handling, billing procedures, and simple reconciliation experience or aptitude. - Proficient phone etiquette and written communication in English and Bahasa Melayu. Soft Skills & Qualities - Friendly, patient, and guest-focused attitude with good interpersonal manners. - Organised and detail oriented, able to manage multiple small tasks during busy periods. - Calm under pressure and able to prioritise guest needs while keeping accurate records. - Eager to learn, reliable, and a team player who supports colleagues across departments.
