Interior Designer
Job Summary
EDC International Sdn Bhd is seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer with 3+ years of experience in concept development, space planning, and detailing. The role involves building end-to-end design packages from sketches to construction documentation and 3D visualizations using AutoCAD, V-Ray, and AI tools. Candidates should have strong communication skills for client presentations and consultant coordination.
Responsibilities
- Translate concepts into complete design packages from sketches to construction documentation
- Produce polished 3D visuals and renderings
- Use AutoCAD, V-Ray, Photoshop and Illustrator for detailed layouts and finishes
- Adopt AI-assisted workflows for ideation and virtual staging
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of interior design experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, V-Ray, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Experience with AI design tools
- Strong communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities
Design Delivery:
- You translate concepts into complete design packages from initial sketches to construction documentation.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum three years of hands-on interior design experience, with strong concept development, space planning and detailing.
- Proven record delivering end-to-end packages, including construction documentation and 3D visualisation.
Hard Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficient in AutoCAD, V-Ray, Photoshop, Illustrator, and everyday tools like Word and Excel.
- Comfortable using AI tools for ideation, virtual staging, smart layouts and VR/AR previews.
Soft Skills & Qualities:
- Well-organised, responsible and collaborative, with an eye for practical detail and continuous improvement.
- Clear communicator, confident in client-facing presentations and able to coordinate consultants and mentor junior staff.
