Technical Service Engineer

Perform in-house inspection, maintenance, repair and servicing of gluing equipment and machines. Perform on-site machine servicing, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance at customer locations. Install, commission and set up new gluing systems and equipment at customer sites. Conduct online and offline diagnosis of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and control-related problems. Troubleshoot adhesive application issues and identify the root cause of machine or process problems. Conduct machine trials and adhesive application trials to support customers in achieving the required production results. Provide technical support and guidance to customers on machine operation, maintenance and troubleshooting. Perform machine calibration, parameter setting and system optimization where required. Provide technical training and demonstrations to customers and machine operators. Prepare service reports, installation reports and other relevant technical documentation. Work closely with the Sales and Application teams to support customer projects and new machine installations. Assist in machine modification, improvement and customization according to customer requirements. Provide technical support remotely through phone, email or online communication when required. Travel to customer sites within Malaysia and occasionally overseas when required. Ensure all service and installation work is carried out safely and according to company procedures. Requirements: - Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or a related field. - Experience in industrial machinery, automation, machine servicing or equipment maintenance will be an advantage. - Good understanding of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems. - Able to read and understand electrical/pneumatic drawings. - Basic knowledge of PLC, sensors, motors, valves and industrial control systems is an advantage. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Willing to travel frequently to customer sites. - Able to work independently as well as with a team. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. - Possess a valid driving licence.
