Job Summary
KyoChon is hiring Front and Back of House staff for their Ipoh, Perak location. The role involves managing kitchen operations, food preparation, and maintaining high service standards for customers. Job Details
Kitchen Assistant Responsibilities:
- Prepare food and beverages according to company standards and recipes.
- Clean and prepare food items including portioning, battering, breading, seasoning, and marinating.
- Handle, store, label, and rotate products properly following food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen station at all times.
- Assist in kitchen closing procedures and follow the kitchen closing checklist.
- Report any food quality or stock shortage issues to the Assistant Kitchen Manager or Kitchen Manager promptly.
- Follow all safety and sanitation standards strictly.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance issues when necessary.
- Support the kitchen team and perform other duties assigned by management.
Service Crew Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet customers in a friendly manner.
- Present menus and take food & beverage orders accurately.
- Introduce customers to the brand and recommend signature menu items.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
- Handle cashiering and payment transactions.
- Ensure dining tables and service areas are clean and hygienic at all times.
- Keep service stations stocked with necessary supplies such as napkins and tableware.
- Work closely with team members to provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Age 18 years old and above.
- Malaysian citizens only.
- Full-time / Part-time / Contract positions available.
- No experience required as training will be provided; experience in F&B is an added advantage.
- Friendly, positive, and hardworking attitude.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a willingness to learn.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long working hours.
- Cashier handling experience will be an added advantage for Service Crew positions.
