Operations Intern

What You'll Do Daily Operations - Assist with day-to-day catering operations. - Support meal packing and ensure orders are packed accurately and on time. - Coordinate with different teams to ensure smooth operational flow. - Assist with inventory, equipment, and operational readiness. Logistics & Deliveries - Arrange and coordinate deliveries using platforms such as Lalamove, Grab, and other logistics partners. - Communicate with drivers and delivery partners to ensure timely deliveries. - Track deliveries and troubleshoot any logistical issues. - Support route planning to improve delivery efficiency. Catering Operations - Assist with catering setup, service, and breakdown. - Attend catering events, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, or public holidays. - Ensure catering equipment and supplies are prepared before each event. - Support the operations team during peak production periods. Process Improvement - Assist in updating and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). - Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency. - Support documentation and administrative tasks related to operations. Team Support - Work closely with chefs, operations, logistics, production and community teams. - Participate in team training sessions and operational meetings. - Contribute to creating a positive and collaborative working environment. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: - Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems and apps. - Confident using logistics platforms such as Lalamove, Grab, and similar delivery services. - Highly organised with strong attention to detail. - Able to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment. - A proactive problem-solver who takes initiative. - Willing to learn, adapt, and continuously improve. - A team player who communicates well with different stakeholders. - Passionate about creating positive social impact. Requirements - Diploma or Degree student (or recent graduate) in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, Hospitality, Event Management, or related fields. - Comfortable with physical work, including packing, lifting, and preparing catering equipment when required. - Willing to work beyond regular office hours when operational needs arise. Overtime will be compensated according to company policy. - Willing to travel to catering venues and operational sites. Having your own transport is an added advantage, as there may be occasional ad hoc errands or site visits. - Able to commit for at least 3-6 months.
