### Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technical marketing, sales and engineers to ensure materials meet technical and quality standards, advise on material-related problems during product design phase, and manage relationships with suppliers.
- Provide material technical expertise: Customize solutions, solve complex customer problems, and recommend suitable materials based on performance, cost, and availability.
- Establish training materials and case studies to showcase expertise and build credibility.
- Identify, categorize, and record detailed information about materials, specifications, and manufacturers.
- Maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date, and accessible materials database.
- Collaborate with procurement to identify and commonize materials for bulk purchasing and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Support engineering and sales initiatives by providing material information and developing innovative material technologies.
- Stay informed about emerging market materials and conduct internal training to improve organizational material literacy.
### Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Material related fields or Tape/Adhesive industry; experience in medical material sector is highly advantageous.
- Bachelor Degree in a related field.
- Basic understanding of physical, chemical, mechanical, and thermal properties of various polymeric materials.
- Basic MS Excel skills (functions and formulas).
- Analytical skills, flexibility, adaptability, meticulousness, and commercial awareness.
