Job Summary
As an Interior Design Fitout Drafter, you will turn concept sketches into full technical packages that contractors and workshops can use. You will produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings for interior fitouts and communicate technical options in Mandarin. This role allows you to build stronger drafting skills and expand your portfolio with retail and residential projects.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings for interior fitouts and shop drawings
- Conduct site measurements and record site conditions
- Communicate technical changes with clients, contractors, and production team in Mandarin
- Check drawings against client briefs and maintain version control
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in interior fitout drafting or cabinetry detailing
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Knowledge of joinery, materials, hardware, and basic M&E coordination
- Fluent spoken and written Mandarin

Responsibilities
Design & Drafting
- Produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings for interior fitouts, including plans, elevations, and joinery details.
- Prepare shop drawings and cutting lists so the workshop can fabricate pieces without rework.
Coordination & Site Work
- Conduct site measurements and record site conditions to update drawings and flag installation issues early.
- Communicate technical changes with clients, contractors, and the production team in Mandarin and clear written notes.
Quality & Documentation
- Check drawings against client briefs and material specs to keep installation quality consistent.
- Maintain version control and handover complete documentation for each project.
Qualifications & Experience
- About 3-5 years of experience in interior fitout drafting or cabinetry detailing for retail or residential projects.
- Portfolio or work samples showing detailed joinery, shop drawings, and completed fitout documentation.
Hard Skills & Knowledge
- Proven proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, with ability to produce shop-ready drawings.
- Strong knowledge of joinery, materials, hardware, and basic M&E coordination for interiors.
- Hands-on experience with site measurement, production drawing preparation, and version control.
- Fluent spoken and written Mandarin for client and supplier communication.
