Restaurant Manager

Position: Restaurant Manager [Mandarin Speaker] Location: Sunway Square Mall, Selangor Responsibilities: - Manage the restaurant’s overall daily operations. - Lead, supervise and schedule the service and kitchen teams. - Ensure employees follow operational procedures and service standards. - Monitor customer service and handle feedback professionally. - Train, guide and evaluate employees’ performance. - Manage employee attendance, shift schedules and manpower requirements. - Monitor stock levels and coordinate inventory replenishment. - Ensure the restaurant is clean, organised and ready for operations. - Maintain food safety, hygiene and halal-handling standards. - Monitor sales performance, operating costs and daily reports. - Handle the restaurant’s opening and closing procedures. - Work closely with management to achieve outlet targets. - Perform other operational duties assigned by the company. Requirements: - Malaysian citizen only. - Below 40 years old. - Full-time position only; no part-time arrangement. - Must be able to communicate confidently in Mandarin, English and Malay. - Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar restaurant management role is required. - Strong leadership and team-management skills. - Able to manage restaurant operations and resolve workplace issues independently. - Customer-focused, responsible and organised. - Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. - Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. - Familiarity with POS systems, employee scheduling, stock control and outlet reporting is an advantage. Language Incentive: The successful candidate will receive an additional RM200 monthly language incentive for the ability to communicate in Mandarin, English and Malay, subject to the client’s language assessment.
