Job Summary
The Account Executive is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and preparing financial reports. This role involves handling bank reconciliations, tax submissions, and commission payments. Proficiency in Mandarin is required to effectively support Mandarin-speaking clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations and compliance
- Prepare commission, expense payments, and closing reports
- Handle bank reconciliations and monthly withholding tax
- Liaise with auditors, bankers, and developers
Required Skills
- Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia
- Experience in full set accounting
- Proficient in MS Office and SQL System
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily accuracy operations and to ensure compliance with the company policies and statutory requirement/guidelines
- Preparation for weekly/ monthly commission and expenses payment
- Responsible for weekly/ monthly closing report
- Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statement
- To liaise with other parties, auditor, banker, agent, co-agency & developer
- To ensure softcopy and hardcopy documents saved and files in order
- Bank in cash or cheque
- Handling of online banking system (CIMB BIZ) – online transfer, bulk payment or any other payment
- Responsible for submit monthly withholding tax
- Carrying out any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management as and when required
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Post-Graduate Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree / Professional Degree in Accounting/ Business Administration/Management or equivalent
- Required skill(s): MS Offices, SQL System (in advantage)
- At least 3-5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Experience in full set account
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Required language(s): English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is required.
