Financial Controller
Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on finance professional to support GL operations, month-end closing, financial reporting, and internal control processes across multiple entities. This role involves working closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors or accountants. You will also be responsible for supporting management reporting and office-level P&L analysis.
Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger and month-end closing
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Improve financial controls and SOPs
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
- Perform office-level P&L analysis
Required Skills
- 5-8 years of finance experience
- Expertise in financial reporting
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- ACCA, CPA, or MIA certification
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills
Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain the general ledger structure
- Design chart of accounts and accounting mapping rules
- Lead month-end closing process
- Review expense classification and accounting entries
- Prepare financial statements
- Improve financial controls and SOPs
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors and tax advisors
- Support management reporting and office-level P&L analysis
Requirements:
- 5 - 8 years finance/accounting experience
- Experience in financial reporting and internal control
- Financial services / FinTech / payment / exposure preferred
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- ACCA / CPA / MIA preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
