Job Summary
This internship offers hands-on experience in laboratory diagnostics supporting poultry farm operations within the Integrated Livestock Farming division. Interns will assist with sample processing, microbiology, molecular biology, and serology testing procedures. It is an ideal opportunity for students to contribute to sustainable farming while developing professional laboratory skills.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Assist in laboratory diagnostic services for poultry farms under the Integrated Livestock Farming (ILF) division.
- Receive and assign identification numbers to incoming samples.
- Perform laboratory work including microbiology, molecular biology, serology, and egg quality testing.
- Preserve samples and assist in cleaning laboratory consumables.
- Ensure all laboratory equipment is well-maintained and functioning efficiently.
- Perform regular housekeeping to keep the laboratory environment clean, sanitized, and orderly.
Requirements:
- Must be pursuing a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, Food Science, Environmental Science, or related fields.
- Required skills: Laboratory techniques, communication, analytical skills, and teamwork.
- Resourceful, self-motivated, and willing to learn new skills.
- Preference given to candidates able to commit for six months (August 2026 - February 2027).
- Must possess own transport and be willing to work at the Rawang laboratory location.
