Store Manager Community Lead
Job Summary
Scandy's is seeking an entrepreneurial and creative Store Manager & Community Lead to launch and manage their first mini flagship store in Kuala Lumpur. This role goes beyond traditional retail, involving event creation, community building, and content production to promote Swedish candy culture. You will be responsible for daily operations, driving customer engagement, and scaling the brand's presence in Malaysia.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily store operations and staff
- Plan and execute in-store events and activations
- Build and nurture the customer community
- Create social media content (TikTok/Reels)
- Handle inventory and online order fulfillment

- Experience in Retail/F&B/Events/Marketing
- Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset

Help build APW into KL's most fun candy destination. You'll be responsible for running the store day-to-day while continuously finding ways to make it more exciting, engaging and successful.
What You'll Do
Store Operations
- Run daily store operations
- Deliver an amazing customer experience
- Manage weekend and part-time staff
Events & Activations
- Plan and execute regular in-store events
- Develop creative activations that bring in customers
- Collaborate with local communities, creators and brands
Community Building
- Build and nurture Scandy's community of candy lovers
- Create reasons for customers to return again and again
- Gather feedback and turn insights into action
Merchandising & Experience
- Keep the store looking fresh, exciting and Instagram-worthy
- Create attractive displays and seasonal themes
Content Creation & Marketing
- Create TikToks, Reels and social content from the store
- Feature products, events and customer experiences
- Help grow awareness of Scandy's across Kuala Lumpur
Inventory & Quick Commerce
- Manage stock levels and inventory
- Coordinate replenishment
- Fulfil online and quick-commerce orders
Compensation
- Fixed monthly salary
- Bonus component tied to store performance
