Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant proficient in SQL Accounting Software to manage our financial operations. The role involves overseeing financial reporting, ledger management, and ensuring tax compliance. Successful candidates will provide essential support for audits and maintain daily cash flow operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements
- Manage general ledger and bank reconciliations
- Process invoices and journal entries via SQL Software
- Oversee tax filings and compliance
- Coordinate with external auditors
- Monitor cash flow and accounts payable/receivable
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or professional qualification
- 3-5 years full-set accounting experience
- Proficiency in SQL Accounting Software
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and accuracy skills
Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ledger Management: Maintain general ledger accounts and perform timely bank reconciliations.
- Software Management: Utilize SQL Accounting Software to process invoices, payments, and journal entries.
- Tax Compliance: Oversee SST/GST filing, corporate tax computations, and statutory reporting.
- Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors and prepare necessary audit schedules.
- Cash Flow: Monitor daily cash flow and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in full-set accounting.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in SQL Accounting Software is strictly required.
- Tools: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attributes: Strong analytical skills, high accuracy, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
