Business Quality Analyst
Job Summary
The Business Quality Analyst acts as a bridge between business requirements and technical execution. You will be responsible for documenting business needs, defining acceptance criteria, and ensuring quality through rigorous testing. The role requires a blend of business analysis, process modeling, and functional testing skills.
Responsibilities

Job Details
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Project Managers and developers to understand business needs and translate them into clear and detailed requirements.
- Prepare and maintain documentation such as user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, business rules, functional specifications, and user manuals.
- Analyse business logic, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and provide recommendations to improve workflows or user experience.
- Convert business requirements into well-structured test scenarios, test cases, and test data to ensure full coverage of business flows.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing to validate that the system meets both technical and business expectations.
- Support user acceptance testing and track them to closure.
- Conduct impact analysis for new features, enhancements, or change requests.
- Participate in grooming sessions, requirement discussions, and sprint planning to provide both requirement clarity and quality perspective.
- Communicate findings, risks, and improvement suggestions through clear reports, defect summaries, and test results.
- Ensure all deliverables meet the required quality standards and align with business goals before deployment.
- Able to adapt, be agile and manage constant changes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or any other IT related field.
- A minimum 3 year of experience working in any product development and/or systems or similar roles.
- Able to communicate and written in English and Mandarin.
- We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Effective communications and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge of various techniques/methods to perform business analysis tasks.
- Good analytical skills, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of business process modelling, SDLC and UAT process.
- Knowledge of SQL/MYSQL, APIs will be an advantage.
- IIBA - Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) will be an advantage.
- International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) will be an advantage.
