Shopify Frontend Developer Intern
Job Summary
Boolland Digital is seeking a Frontend Developer Intern to build and customize Shopify eCommerce websites. You will work on live storefronts, translating Figma designs into responsive code using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This internship offers hands-on experience in Shopify architecture and professional eCommerce workflows.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Translate Figma designs into responsive, on-brand pages.
- Build theme sections and blocks so non-technical teammates can self-serve.
- Improve page speed, accessibility, and mobile experience.
- Fix layout bugs and browser quirks across live stores.
- Participate in merchant planning calls to understand project requirements.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Multimedia, or related field).
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with experience building projects from scratch.
- Familiar with Git basics (clone, branch, commit, pull request).
- Comfortable reading and writing in English.
- Genuine curiosity about eCommerce and frontend development performance.
Internship Details:
- Duration: Flexible 3–6 months.
- Allowance: RM800–RM1,500 per month based on experience.
- Equipment: Candidates must provide their own laptop and stable internet connection.
