Job Summary
As a Fashion Advisor at Tudungruffle, you will create memorable in-store styling experiences and help customers discover our collections. You will develop product knowledge, create outfit pairings, update displays, and maintain a welcoming shopping environment. Responsibilities
Customer Experience
- Welcome customers and ask simple questions to understand their needs and preferences.
- Provide personalised styling suggestions and mix-and-match options that suit fit and lifestyle.
- Maintain customer notes and follow up on preferred sizes or items when appropriate.
Sales & Store Operations
- Achieve individual and store sales goals by guiding customers through product benefits and fit.
- Operate the POS accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while following cash handling rules.
- Receive deliveries, restock the sales floor, and support daily stock checks and inventory tasks.
- Report stock discrepancies and assist during stock counts to keep records current.
Visual Merchandising & Store Care
- Refresh displays and style mannequins to reflect seasonal themes and promotional plans.
- Keep the shop floor tidy, well organised, and easy for customers to browse.
- Share customer feedback about fits, colours, and trend interest to help buying decisions.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Fresh graduates or applicants with 0 to 1 year of retail experience are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum SPM or equivalent; diploma in fashion or retail is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to work retail shifts including weekends and public holidays.
Hard Skills & Knowledge
- Basic point of sale operation and accurate cash handling skills.
- Understanding of fit, sizing, and fabric basics for everyday apparel.
- Familiarity with visual merchandising principles and simple stock management tasks.
- Comfort using mobile devices for inventory lookups and customer communication.
